The above models succeed the standard subclasses until now without the "A". The "A" models are equipped with the improved "Jeans parts set".
This improved set uses a needle plate, which has a different shaped needle hole at the front to reduce wear and tear from needle deflection, caused at thick cross seams (lap seams).

The needle thread take up has different shape, like on EX 3216 H (with hooks on the upper and lower sides) to draw the thread under control backwards on thick cross seams (lap seams) to avoid any loops (loose stitches).

EX,(H) has floating type presser foot arm for reduced ply shift and better compensation of different length cut panels by the operator.

EX(T) has different spring (presser arm) for better climbing performance on thick cross seams.

All EX(T)H - A05 - models have in addition the different needle system, B27, like all other models and subclasses. The shorter needle is reducing the needle deflection additional at critical sewing conditions.

Pegasus manufactures now above models with a 3-row differential feed dog -333. The old model was 2-row diff. feed dog -323. With the change to the 3 - row differential feed, the machine can handle in general a wider variety of fabrics. This is very important for our customers in case of piece work, as they don't know which material they have to sew in future.

The Y-number is introduced to differentiate between the new and the standard production models.

The discount is the same as for the normal production model and applies also for:
