Kindly note that Pegasus is going to change the specification of W-series with respect to the …/M/… The "M" is standing for the European / CE-specification and safety standards like presser foot finger guard, eye guard, needle thread take-up guard and related safety measurements. The "M" was used for diversification of European and Asian production with different safety standards.
Due to unification in production and increased safety standards in Japan and Asia, the "M" will be introduced to all production models. Therefore the "M" will be no longer written in the specification in the future.
Please notify your employees in sales and your technical staff accordingly.

2. Discontinuation of W542, W644 and W742

Above models are without top cover thread and the production quantity of these models is very little world-wide, which makes the production cost high.
Due to this situation and to have the benefit of reduced stock level, the discontinuation of models without top cover thread was adopted. This applies to W542, W644 and W742.

Please note that the guide for hemming sleeves is not included automatically.
This guide provides more flexibility for MHG and it is optional usable for both, hemming of bottoms and hemming of open (flat) sleeves.
This guide has to be ordered as "guide for sleeves" and will be charged additionally.

After consumption of the present adapter wires # 1112827 (for AB60D in conjunction with Pegasus BL - old + new style) and #1112729 (for 5H82AV in conjunction with Pegasus BL - old + new style) we will have new adapter wires available, which allow to use the presser foot lifting signal direct of the control panel without having to mount the additional switch from Pegasus in the threadle rod.
