New Thread Take Up for W - and WT - series

The new tension less thread take up was introduced to improve sewing conditions on light weight and sensitive fabric. The needle plate has a thickness of 3,3, mm, needle thread take up and looper thread take up were improved to minimise thread tension and to avoid or reduce the bridge effect.

To differentiate from standard production following Y-numbers were introduced:

Please also refer to TC-D0022 on this subject, informing about the changes in parts. New style thread take - up and thread guides are used. The introduction of the new subclasses is delayed.

UC - device for EXT2241/Y and EXT3244/Y for seaming of bulky knitwear

The UC - device is usually supplied with the thick centre part inside the guide. The centre part can be different in thickness, depending on the curling tendency of the fabric. In case of:

• inside curl
  • thick centre part is used
    
  and with
• outside curl
  • thin centre part is used
