The looper thread break detector, TW300, detects the looper thread breakage and stops the machine. TW300 was introduced for interlock stitch machines.
The sensor, placed between the looper and the looper thread take-up, controls the looper thread. If the machine rotates four times with the looper thread broken, the sensor will send signals to the motor in order to stop the machine. This way it prevents the looper thread winding around the looper thread take-up. |
