W1500, new flat bed, economical Interlock-stitch machine

Pegasus is introducing the
new flat bed Interlock-stitch machine W1500.

This new developed economical machine is capable of a speed of up to 6000 rpm. W1500 series offers many new features with respect to flexibility, easy operation, safety and improved seam quality:

• New needle thread take-ups
  • for easier threading, similar to a overlock machine
  • no take-up bar on the outside, increases safety
  • only Pegasus has this new style thread take-up

  
  Very easy threading due to the new thread take-up system.

• Synchronisation of needle thread and top cover thread is different
  • resulting in better supply of cover thread
  • resulting in better stitch formation
  • no tight top cover thread and better seam quality
• Easier handling of fabric and more accurate guiding of fabric
  
  • The distance from the front of the bed cover of -01 to the needle drop point is shortened to 33 mm
  • position of guides are closer to presser foot

  

• Rotation detector is attached to the lower shaft
  
  • no winding of threads around upper shaft
  • no hand wheel on upper shaft

  

• Equipped with presser foot lever like EX-type for
  • easy and light movement for mechanics and operators

  

New features with respect to easy maintenance:

• Differential feed ratio adjustment from the outside

  

• The front cover for -01 is available for -03 and -08
  • The knob for the front cover on -01 has been shifted to the right, increasing the space under the arm.

  

  

  

New features with respect to easy convertibility:

• Always equipped with thread tensions and tread stand of the three needle machine, also easy to convert 2-needle machine into 3-needle machine, without additional parts of thread guides.
• Common front cover for -01, -03 and -08 subclasses

• Common gauge parts between W1500 and W500 series

  • needle plate (-01 is new, as it is smaller like -03 and -08)chaining finger thickness of 3,3 mm (-02 is 2,8 mm)

Available Subclasses

The W1500 - series is available in subclasses

• -01 for plain seaming, including the guides for -03 covering operations and -08 hemming operations
• -02 for binding operations

Available as 2- and 3- needle machine in needle gauges: 232, 240, 248, 256, 264, 356 and 364 depending on subclass.
Further subclasses will be introduced later.

Max. stitch length on all models of 4,6 mm

Differential ratio: 0,5 ~ 1,3

Presser foot lift ranges from 5,3 mm to 6,3 mm, depending on subclass.
