W2600, new cylinder arm, high speed Interlock-stitch machine

Pegasus is introducing the new high speed, cylinder arm Interlock-stitch machine W2600.

This new developed machine is capable of a speed of up to 7000 rpm with the W2664S, standard lift subclass and without top cover thread. W2600 series is the fastest interlock stitch machine in the world. This new model offers many new features with respect to flexibility, easy operation, safety and improved seam quality:

New needle thread take-up
• for easier threading, similar to an overlock machine
• no take-up bar on the outside, increases safety
• Only Pegasus has this new style thread take-up

Very easy threading due to the new thread take-up system.

Synchronisation of needle thread and top cover thread is different
• resulting in better supply of cover thread
• resulting in better stitch formation
• no tight top cover thread
• and better seam quality

Adjustable needle bar stroke by eccentric screw, for low lift and high lift
• the machine can be used for a wider variety of different fabric thickness and different materials

Increased presser foot lift from 5,1 to 6,0 mm on needle gauge x356

Shorter and light weight looper shaft for higher speed

Equipped with presser foot lever like EX-type for
• easy and light movement for mechanics and operators

New features with respect to easy convertibility:

Always equipped with thread tensions and tread stand of the three needle machine, also easy to convert 2-needle machine into 3-needle machine, without additional parts of thread guides.

Common front cover for -01, -03 and -08 subclasses
• easy conversion
• no need to change the cover

Showing the removable insert in case the guide of subclass -03 is used. Needle plate width is the same in case of all 3 subclasses, -01, -03, 08.

Available Subclasses

The W2664 - series is available in subclasses
• -01 for plain seaming
• -03 for covering operations
• -08 for hemming operations

Further subclasses will be introduced later.

The W2664S is capable of 7000 rpm. All other subclasses used as standard needle bar stroke (31 mm) are capable of 6500 rpm and in case they are used with high needle bar stroke (33,4 mm) the max. speed is restricted to 6000 rpm.

In case any changes are made afterwards, please remember the correct speed settings.

Available as 2- and 3- needle machine in needle gauges: 232, 240, 248, 256, 264, 356 and 364 depending on subclass.

Max. stitch length on all models of 4,6 mm

Differential ratio: 0,9 ~ 1,3 (0,6 ~ 1,1)

Presser foot lift ranges from 5,6 mm to 7 mm, depending on subclass and standard or high lift.
